The South Carolina Aquarium, located in CharlestonSouth Carolina, opened on May 19, 2000 on the historic Charleston Harbor. It is home to more than 10,000 plants and animals including North American river ottersloggerhead sea turtlesalligatorsgreat blue herons, hawks, owls, lined seahorsesjellyfishpufferfishgreen moray eels, horseshoe crabs, sea stars, pythons, and sharks.

The largest exhibit in the Aquarium is the Great Ocean Tank, which extends from the first to the third floor of the Aquarium. It holds more than 385,000 US gallons (1,460,000 l) of water and contains more than 700 animals.

The Aquarium also features a Touch Tank, where patrons may touch horseshoe crabs, Atlantic stingrays, and other marine animals.

The largest exhibit in the Aquarium is the Great Ocean Tank, which extends from the first to the third floor of the Aquarium. It holds more than 385,000 US gallons (1,460,000 l) of water and contains more than 700 animals.

The Aquarium also features a Touch Tank, where patrons may touch horseshoe crabs, Atlantic stingrays, and other marine animals.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Bands, Burgers and Brews Competition hosted by The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina. We are excited to bring this event to the Lowcountry and our guests. We are proud to announce that our 2016 Grand Prize Winner, Fillin' Station Diner qualified for the World Food Championship 2016 November 9th - 15th as a WFC Preferred Qualifier – World Burger Championship.

What is the Bands, Burgers and Brews Throwdown? Local Chefs will compete in a live burger cook-off against one another for the BEST Burger in the Lowcountry.

A sister of Party at the Point, this once a month winter series features locally steamed oysters, live music, and plenty of beer choices.  Oysters on the Point always kicks off in December on the same day as the Charleston Parade of Boats which can be seen perfectly from our pier.  It is hosted on Saturday afternoons from 2pm - 6pm.  

$5 General Admission, Children 12 and under are free.

Resort Guests and Marina Tenants are free

Please no pets or coolers allowed.

Entering its 16th year and billed as Charleston’s “premier happy hour concert series,” the long-running annual summer and fall concert series Party at the Point is hosted on Friday evenings. It is a family friendly event with live music hosted on our beachfront with plenty of food and drinks available.

Centered around our Lookout Pavilion, this annual event features two days of barbeque competition within a large competitor and vendor village.
