Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room. Photo ID is required upon check-in. Individuals 17 years old and younger are considered children. Guests of the spa must be at least 18 years of age, no exceptions.
Check-in / Check-out Times
Check-in: 4:00 p.m. / Check- out: 11:00 a.m.
Early Check-in Policy
If you arrive early, you may check your luggage and enjoy our pools, a therapeutic spa treatment, or have a meal in one our restaurants.
Early Departure Policy
There will be an early departure charge of one night's rate if you check out prior to your scheduled departure date. If booked with a minimum night requirement or as a holiday package, you will be charged the full cost of your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your reservations, please cancel seventy-two (72) hours prior to 6:00 pm on the day you are scheduled to arrive to avoid being charged a one night room and tax cancellation fee. If you are booked over a minimum night requirement or holiday package and elect to depart prior to your scheduled departure date, you will be charged the full length of your reservation. Spa reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
Cash-paying Guests
Guests paying in cash must pay their accommodation charges in full with an additional $50 per-day charge for incidentals at the time of check-in.
Daily Amenity Charge
A $42 nightly amenity fee includes onsite parking with unlimited in and out privileges, high-speed wireless internet access, morning coffee and tea in the lobby, scheduled shuttle services to and from downtown Charleston, 24/7 fitness center access, complementary bicycle rentals, local calling and access to waterfront pools at both the Harborside Hotel and The Beach Club (Cabana Pool heated year round).
CVB Accommodation Charge
A $2 daily CVB accommodation charge will be added each night, which is included in the resort fee. This is a 100% pass through charge and promotes the Charleston Area’s Tourism efforts.
Resort Guest Parking
Self parking is available 24 hours a day. Guests will utilize the resort key to access the onsite parking area. We assume no liability for theft, collision, accidents, fire or damages of any kind to personal property from any cause whatsoever. We assume no responsibility or liability for property left in a vehicle; property is left in the vehicle solely at the risk of the owner.
No Boat, Trailer, or RV Parking. All violators will be towed at owners expense.
Daily Self Parking
Hourly parking fees: 30 minutes free. First four hours $10.00 and $2.00 per hour thereafter with a $25.00 daily max. $30.00 for lost ticket. We assume no liability for theft, collision, accidents, fire or damages of any kind to personal property from any cause whatsoever. We assume no responsibility or liability for property left in a vehicle; property is left in the vehicle solely at the risk of the owner.
No Boat, Trailer, or RV Parking. All violators will be towed at owners expense.
Debit Card Policy
For guests using debit cards at the time of check in, the full amount of accommodations charges for your stay plus $100 per day for incidentals will be authorized. Funds will be unavailable for 3-7 business days, depending on your bank regulations. The hotel is not responsible or liable for the loss of use of these funds or any overdraft charges.
Deposit Information
On select days, a deposit of a one night’s stay may be requested 10 days prior to your arrival, please check your confirmation.
Registered Hotel Guest Policy
To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, the hotel enforces a registered hotel guest policy in our guest rooms. Only registered guests are permitted to enter the hotel elevators or guest rooms after 10:00 p.m. All guests must be registered at check-in. If a disturbance is created, as a result of a party or noise from a guest room, all guests in the room will be asked to leave the hotel, without a refund. These guidelines are in place to ensure every guest enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay in our hotel.
Taxes & Fees
The room rate, daily resort charges, and CVB charge are subject to imposed fees and taxes.
Food & Beverage Gratuity
A 21% gratuity will be added to all food and beverage dining checks for parties of eight (8) or more. A 22% gratuity will be charged for all in room dining deliveries.
Personal Check Policy
We do not accept personal checks.
Pet Policy
The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina does allow dogs.
* $100 non - refundable one time pet fee + $25 per day cleaning fee.
Smoking Policy
Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is a smoke-free property and a $200 cleaning fee will be assessed when smoking in your room. Please ask the Front Desk for the designated smoking areas on property.
Wellness Policy
Any use of the fitness center, bike rentals or participation in one of the off-site exercise classes or other programs offered by Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina is done at participant's sole risk. The hotel shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to the participant or participant's personal property resulting from participating in these programs or use of the equipment, regardless of whether it occurs as a result of Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina's negligence.
